Nature is number one on my list.  I have the good fortune to live in the midst of the wilderness and it never failed to refresh and renew me along this journey.

Exercise.  I ran into my tears, I ran with my tears and I ran thru my tears coming home just a little bit stronger and ready to go on.

Building a team. There is no way I could do this alone.  My team was the ladies I hired.  They became friends and adopted family.  They were with Mom more than I was and they loved her.  Mom was the glue for the team.

Accepting that this was my journey and my priority gave me the right to do this first above everything else.  My husband and my businesses fell well below the mark.

Acupuncture helped with emotional balancing.

Travel with mental balancing but over time travel became limited and was no longer an option as Mom was my priority.

Reading books on energy and motivation.  Business books helped me more than Self-help books as it is all the same message but presented in a way that worked for me.  I liked Jon Gordon’s Energy Bus and pick a Word for the Year helped me with many tough times.  My words in the last few years were ACCEPTANCE, TRUST, BELIEVE, SURRENDER, LAUGHTER, OBSERVE, PATIENCE and GRATITUDE.  I would apply them to everyday situations and to the big stuff and always found benefit.

Mediation was one thing I could not do but I did learn to enjoy my first cup of coffee with attention and not let my squirrel brain start running for the first fifteen minutes of the day. Every little bit helps.
